Hello! My name is Gracie Childs and I am the director/owner of Evergreen Learning Center. I am graduating from Baker University in May 2025 with my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I have a huge love for the science of learning and hope to share my love of science with my students! Through our curriculum, my students will get their hands dirty learning how to take care of a garden and appreciate nature for its beauty.

I will also hold a Child Development Associate through opportunities provided to me by Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities (KCCTO), Baker University, and experience at my local college town preschool, Rainbow Experience Preschool. I am starting my fourth year of teaching as a lead teacher at Rainbow and have worked in childcare for six years!

With the help of friends and family, I will be remodeling the Clearwater Learning Corner 1 mile North of Clearwater, Kansas next July to prepare for Evergreen Learning Center to get its start! I am so excited to begin this journey and will be working hard to make sure ELC lives up to the legacy the CLC has left behind.
